The Henri Nouwen Society is an organisation that communicates the work of Henri Nouwen, a Dutch-born Catholic priest, professor, psychologist and prolific writer. Henri Nouwen's work focused on vulnerability about faith, spiritual formation, prayer, social justice, and other themes related to the spiritual life.

The Society's Speaker Series for this year will feature Carolyn Arends, who will be focusing on "The Role of the Arts in Spiritual Formation".
The Fibonacci sequence builds on every past number and is considered a golden ratio, it's essentially a visual representation of 'growing', and in contemporary culture has come to symbolise the close relationship that humans have with nature.
This is apparent as the visual representation is in the shape of an individual's ear as well as the growth of a snail shell, among other naturally occurring phenomena.
